PERODUA MPV “ALZA” VS PROTON MPV EXORA “RAKYAT”

Perodua just rebadge it with new facelift and some small minor changes on the upcoming Perodua Alza with the cost of around RM300 million.

On the other block of national car brand, Proton are planning to release a basic model of proton Exora just 3 days before the launch of Perodua Alza according to a source from Proton personnel.

The basic model of proton Exora is known as Proton Exora “Rakyat” by Proton Staff due to the affordable price that Proton will offer to compete with the upcoming Perodua M(Basic model of Exora “Rakyat” with black bumper and steel rims but still is in huge chasis)

That is a good strategy by Proton to accept the challenge by perodua MPV and how to handle the competition. Proton Exora Basic Model or “Exora Rakyat” price of around RM55,000 will be released with minimum accessories and maintaining basic specification like body chasis and engine.


Most probably it will consist of small steel rims, black painted bumper minus other advance features.
PV Alza that will be priced between RM56k-RM65k.(RM 280 million just to rebadge this Toyota Passo Sette. And I believe some of Alza Owners will rebadge and convert again to Toyota Passo Sette or Daihatsu Boon Luminas with a cost less than RM5000)

However, it is still a good bargain because with the price of Perodua MPV Alza, you are able to get the bigger and more comfortable Proton Exora Basic Model. Other accessories can be added in the future according to your taste.

While Perodua MPV Alza is going to compete with Proton MPV Exora, they will have a good point on Engine power to weight and less fuel consumption km/litre.

On the next year october 2010, Proton is scheduled to get the campro CPS Turbo ready for the Exora and there will be no issue of not enough power as stated by many of Proton criticizer. And this two MPV will continue to compete to get Malaysian attraction. - www.kereta.info

  10. Kepada sapa2 yg dok pertimbangkan nak ambik alza tu eloklah pi tempah exora..pasai??
    1. Air-cond blower alza cuma satu sahaja/depan sahaja..alamat yg kat belakang 2nd dan 3rd row panas..ok
    Sedangkan exora..? semuanya dah tahu..tiap2 row pun ada..best..!
    2. Nak isi barang..? Alza ..habis laahh..silap2 beg sekolah pun tak muat..

  11. isn't perodua actually working with toyota or daihatsu and that is why the cars produced by perodua are similar to those two brands? why do people keep on saying they are ripping off the designs?

  12. kedua dua ada kelebihan dan kekurangan, aku dh beli dua dua skali.

    exora memang besar tapi berat. dapat rasa bile penuh. pakai belt plak tu

    perodua kecik skit naik 7 org pickup still sama, tak terasa sangat. then menggunakan timing chain, boleh tahan sehingga 12 tahun lebih.

    itu yg aku baru nampak...

  13. P2 copy Toyota sebenarnya selling point bagi orang yang pentingkan kualiti. Copy & paste lebih baik dari kerap masuk bengkel! Tunggu 2-3 tahun baru tahu juara sebenar.

  14. ape2 kete pun kalu pandai jaga, memang akan lost lastingnyer. Aku ingat raya nak beli salah satu mpv nie bab dah kawin. just for info, now i'm using Perodua kembara 2001(not DVVT), not a single problem, change tyres,services biasalah,absorber baru tahun lepas tukar.Berapa lama pakai tu. kdg2 relatives kate aku tukar cat metallic kete aku, padahal takde. Tapi aku selalu cuci(cuci sendiri). It's has clocked around 125000 km. senang citer, korang sayang kete tu, bawak elok2, sure oknyer.. Tapi aku rase akan pilih Alza kot bab yg advanced version tu cunlah

  15. dulu pki gen2 auto, pn lemau je pikap.. turun bukit kurang 90km/h enjin mengaung, changgear sndiri.. naik bukit trus berat je.. aku trade in beli exora auto mula2 sbb nk besar, sume besar, a.con bgus,petrol kuat pulak tu,lbih dr gen2 tu..tp xde pikap, berat la, naik 7org lg berat.. main jln bandar lg truk, malas nk gerak.. lembap, kta hp 125cps, tp truk je.. nk jual xde untung.. jdi pakai je la..

    pastu aku bini aku bli alza, utk uat keje, dulu pki kncil, alza mmg kecik dr exora, tp power, 7org pn power, ptrol jimat.. cume brg je kurang muat, main bandar mmg syok, pikap kuat, h.ways lari 150-160km/h ok je..

    jdi ko org pikir nk bli apa? exora atu alza.. aku bli dua2.. tp klu ko jdi driver, drive puas, pkap power mmg best ALZA.. tp klu nak duduk sblah derba atu blkang dan tido atu tgk pemandangan kiri kanan naik EXORA la..

  16. perodua kereta jepun....k.perjanjian bisnes mereka.....tapi jgn lupa....kereta kancil aku still maintain after 14 years....jimat dan masih dapat....tawaran yang tinggi....ini baru nama kereta tapi aku taknak jual.....buat kenang-kenangan...sentimental value..k TQ

Hujung 2010 aku pakai exora pergi mengembara keutara,penuh dengan penumpang dan barang-barang sekali sampai x nampak cermin belakang...kereta standard habis...aku test power naik bukit highway utara selatan.....selambaje...exora ni speed naik bukit 140km/h.....sampai kedah kat kuala nerang aku parking kat tepi jalan....tiba-tiba terbenam la pulak sebelah kanan kereta ni...aku cuba turun tapi ada satu abang kat situ kata kereta ni enjin power tak payah turun dari kereta ....dia tolong aku letak papan kat bawah tayar depan.....dgn penumpang yang penuh ni aku pun tekan la minyak........sekali lagi....kereta ni naik selamba je dari selut yang makan separuh tayar depan dan belakang kereta aku ni.....aku pun ucapkan TQ...kpd abg tu....aku teruskan perjalanan.......tapi yang nyatanya kereta exora ni patut di upgradekan...terutama p/up.....untuk pengetahuan anda kereta ni aku tambah minyak warnanya macam minyak asli kelapa dara tapi utk dicampurkan kedalam enjin haga rm 50.00 aje...botol besarnya macam botol minyak wangi 200 gm.Tekan minyak.....dia speed..AWAS!!! JALAN RAYA BUKAN TEMPAT BERLUMBA......wasalam...dari yang mencuba yang terbaik.

  18. hahaha proton pon ada jgk ciplak proton inspira..cut paste ke tidak tak penting..yg penting kita dpt merasa kualiti yg hampir sama. lagipon proton asalnya jgk dri cut and paste. jgn kata rakyat kita tiada idea..kita sedang menuju ke arah itu..tp nak buat kereta bukan mcm buat baju kurung..kena kira dari segi teknologi dan kemahiran yang kita ada. klu kita tak mula dgn cut and paste, sampai bila pon kita tak akan buat kereta.

  19. enkau orang semua ni asyik kutuk barangan Malaysia je, untuk pengetahuan semua kereta tempatan ni di jual untuk yang mampu milik sahaja, kalau nak cantik dan power belilah kereta mahal ,kereta ni untuk keperluan bukan untuk kebanggaaan, padanlah dengan harga nak kereta murah tapi nak kualiti macam kereta 300 ribu sedarlah sikit diri tu
